Here we go! The 29th season of the Greater Cleveland Skins Game begins play this Thursday, April 11th at Fowler’s Mill Golf Course in Chesterland.

Only two rules changes were enacted for this season, both related to tee boxes played.

In 2019, all participants under the age of 55 will play from the back tees. Players ages 55 to 69 will move up one tee box from the back tees. And players ages 70+ move up one more tee box from that.

There will be no variation to tee boxes by handicap in play for 2019.

Mark Foss ACE!
Mark Foss made an ace at the 8th hole at Chardon Lakes in Week 12 of the 2018 Greater Cleveland Skins Game.

The Mulligan’s Cup season-long points race will remain the same, starting with $500 in that pot courtesy of Mulligan’s Pub in Highland Heights.

Entry fees for the weekly 9 hole game will total $40. That money will be split up as follows: $30 Skins; $5 Mulligan Pin Shot (lowest handicapped par three); $3 Pin Shot (second lowest handicapped par three); and $2 to the Mulligan’s Cup prizes. 100% of all money is paid out. Greens fees are paid separately from the entry fees.

Steve Blackburn Jr.The Thompson Cup is still held by Steve Blackburn Jr. — now for the seventh consecutive year! Can anyone take it from him?

Looking forward to seeing you all and good luck to all 2019 participants…
