2013 Greater Cleveland Skins Game: Week 21 Results

Greater Cleveland Skins Game

Greater Cleveland Skins GameIt was a picture perfect evening under blue skies at Chardon Lakes Golf Course on Thursday evening, and Chris Horne of Bay Village made the most of it.

Horne made double deuces on the night, capturing two skins on the par threes with birdies.

First he rolled in a 20-foot putt on the 182-yard par three 11th hole, and then he did the same on the 200-yard par three 14th hole. Interestingly enough, he did not get either pin shot! The double-dip skin-win moves Horne into third position on the 2013 Leaderboard.

Then it was Steve Blackburn Sr.’s turn. Senior, who has been known to make an eagle or two, came through with a 30-foot putt for an eagle on the 480-yard par five 12th hole. Skins paid $69 each.

Pin shot winners were Brian Perkins on the 11th hole good for $27 and Leaderboard front-runner Steve Blackburn Jr., fresh off his Cleveland Shoot-Out victory, taking the Mulligan’s pin shot on the 14 hole good for $36.

Next week, the Greater Cleveland Skins Game travels east to Erie Shores with a 5pm start.
