20 Rules for ’19: #12 – Ball on Wrong Green


Really? Not hitting a ball off the wrong green is common sense. In 2019, the rule calls for even more space.

Common sense says to not hack a big divot out of the green. But common sense isn’t always common:

Of course, it has long been a penalty to play a ball from the wrong green. But in 2019, that rule has been expanded further: you must take complete relief, stance included.
