Longtime Big Met Golf Course pro Mike Raby, a PGA Master Professional and one of the country’s leading experts in the Rules of Golf, has been hired to be the Director of Golf for the seven golf courses of the parish of East Baton Rouge in Louisiana, his home state.

Raby will be leaving Big Met at the end of August to start his new job.

Raby has been instrumental in growing the stature of the Greater Cleveland Amateur Golf Championship and the Cleveland Metropark’s Spring and Fall Tour events in conjunction with fellow pros John Fiander and Tom Kochensparger.

Every tournament player who sees Mike in the next few weeks before he leaves should give him a hearty thank you…
