Local Players Move On to 2008 U.S. Amateur

Jeff Malette of Canton posted a solid 2-under par to finish second. Three players tied for third at even par, forcing a playoff for the final two spots, which was won by Mac McLaughlin of Shaker Heights and Zach Glassman of Highland Heights.
