The online tournament entry system of the Northern Ohio Golf Association opens on Monday, April 1st, allowing players and teams of players to register for any event of the 2019 NOGA season.

There is one small catch: a player must be a member of NOGA to register.

How does one become a NOGA member, you ask? You can join one of the NOGA member golf clubs, or you can join the NEOH.GOLF Club for $35/year. (There may be a small price difference between those two options.)

Every player with an active USGA GHIN handicap is eligible to enter a NOGA tournament in 2019. Once GHIN is active for the season, a player must set up a member account within NOGA’s online tournament system. From there, a player can enter any NOGA event of interest.

Northern Ohio Golf AssociationNOGA conducts most of its tournaments in two divisions, Championship and Senior (age 55+). Then within those two age divisions, it determines handicap flights based on entries. Players compete within each of those flights/divisions at scratch. NOGA events are open to adults of any age or skill level, and you compete with like-level players. Fun.

The tournament entry fee is $100 per player for nearly every event, which includes 18 holes of golf+cart, tournament prizes and lunch at the club. And the clubs played are some of the best in Northeast Ohio: check the 2019 NOGA Tournament Schedule.

So get to it: review the 2019 NOGA schedule, pick the events in which you want to play, join if you are not yet a member, then log in to NOGA.org/tournaments on Monday, April 1 to start signing up for tournaments…
