Sotka Grabs First Round Lead of 2010 Cleveland Am

2008 Cleveland Am Champ Kyle Cobb of Strongsville tees off high up on the par-3 15th Friday.
Dave Sotka of Chardon was the only player to shoot under par in the first round of the 2010 Cleveland Amateur Golf Championship at Manakiki on Friday. Sotka posted a 1-under par score of 71 in very difficult conditions: firm greens, tough pins and a windy day that kept every other player at or over par.
Sotka leads by a single shot over two players: three-time Cleveland Am Champ Norton Brick of Elyria; and Mark Belasic of Mentor. And right on their heels is Steve Blackburn Jr., the only player to post 73 on the day.
