Dan Marr holes this 16-foot birdie putt on 18 to earn a share of the 2010 ADGA Lazor 2-Man

The teams of Mike Simpson & Dave Oates and Dave Trier & Dan Marr shared top honors in the 2010 ADGA Lazor 2-Man better ball event at Chippewa Golf Club on Saturday.

Each team shot a 6-under par 65, two shots better than the three teams who tied for third at 67. [Read more →]

Entries are now being accepted for the 2010 Senior Summit County Amateur Golf Championship, being played at Barberton Brookside Golf Club on Friday, August 13th and at Good Park Golf Course in Akron on Saturday, August 14th. Wicked Woods has been nothing but kind to Mark Julius this year, as he continued his hot streak by capturing a skin and a pin shot there Thursday night.

Julius birdied the par-5 12th hole that held up for a skin worth $130.33, and he grabbed the pin shot at the uphill 150-yard par-3 14th hole worth $59.50. The double-dip was Julius’ second big night of the year at Wicked Woods, as he climbs into second place on the season-long leaderboard, less than $185 away from the lead still held by Eddie Neer. Joey Frustaci played consistent golf, shooting a 2-under par 69 to win the $1,200 first prize in the Professional Division at The Medalist Tour’s Austin Carr Invitational at Stonewater Country Club in Highland Heights on Thursday.
