Greater Cleveland Skins GameThe rain held off just long enough at Chardon Lakes Golf Course on Thursday for the Greater Cleveland Skins Game to squeeze in play for Week 24.

Chippewa Scratch League Washed Out Again

Chippewa Monday Scratch LeagueFor the second week in a row, Monday’s playing of the Chippewa Scratch League was a washout before it started. Heavy rains hit the Doylestown golf course at 3 p.m. making conditions unplayable. So the previous carry-over skins pot (now going on three weeks old!) will be in play again next Monday — Mother Nature permitting, of course…

Lake Erie Golf Tour’s $5,000 Hole-in-One Prize Still Not Paid After Three Months

Lake Erie Golf TourOn June 30th, Matt Heestand of Parma made a hole-in-one in the Amateur Division at the Lake Erie Golf Tour event at Tam-O-Shanter Golf Club in Canton.

Matt HeestandThat ace was supposed to net Heestand a cool $5,000 prize through a season-long sponsorship deal with the National Hole In One Association, payable for any hole-in-one made by any player all season long, according to the LEGT website.

But almost three months after the hole-in-one that Canton event, Heestand has yet to receive his $5,000 payment. [Read more →]

 

Private Team Crushes Public in 2011 Shaw Cup
