Entries are now being accepted for the 2010 Stark County Amateur Golf Championship sponsored by New Horizon Financial Group. This 54-hole individual stroke play tournament will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday July 23-24-25. 

The first round will be played on Friday at Ohio Prestwick CC, with tee times from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with all players going off the first tee.

On Saturday, play will be conducted at Seven Hills Country Club in Hartville, again starting at 7:30 a.m. but this time with split tees off #1 and #10. Players will be paired by score based on their finish from the first round.

The final round will be held at The Sanctuary GC in North Canton on Sunday, again with players paired by score.

The cost for the event is $130 ($110 for high school players) for the first two days, which includes cart. There will be no cut this year; everyone who wants to play the final round is welcome to play, featuring a discounted rate of $33 for 18 holes and a cart for the final round. (A reduced walking rate is also available.) A $20 retainer fee will be collected on Saturday to secure your final round tee time, and that fee can use that toward your skins entry or toward your final round greens fee.

The Stark County Amateur had 108 players last year and we hope to match that number this year.  We have 3 flights: AA, A and B. We also have a flighted skins game for each class, at $20 per day.
