ADGA Player of the Year Event at Portage CC

Get your entry in for the final event of the Akron District Golf Association season, the “Player of the Year” tournament at the Portage Country Club in Akron next Saturday and Sunday, September 12-13.   

Entry fee for the first round is $70 with an optional $20 skins pot available. At the end of that first round, the field will be cut to the top 24 players as currently seen on the ADGA’s year long points list plus the low 8 scores from the players not on that list. Sunday’s round will be a $40 entry fee with an option $20 skins pot available.

The POY event is worth 350 points, so the winner of the season-long total could come from anyone sitting in the top 5. To be eligible to enter at Portage CC, the contestant must have played two ADGA events in 2009. To enter, visit the ADGA sign up page.
