Steve Blackburn Jr., the reigning Greater Cleveland Skins Game Champion, made a bold move this week at Quail Hollow Country Club: he made the only skin of the night.

In Friday’s second round of the 2010 Senior Cleveland Amateur Championship at Big Met, many expected newly-crowned Senior Northeast Ohio Am champ Norton Brick to run out to another win.

Michael Bernard of the Dayton suburb of Huber Heights became the youngest champion in the 104-year history of the Ohio Amateur Championship today. The 16-year-old posted a final-round even-par 71 at Kirtland Country Club in Willoughby to finish the 72-hole tournament with a score of 7-under 277, good for a five shot victory. [Read more →]
